Part 1: Planning

 

Personal vision:

 

My personal vision is to feel comfortable in the business industry, and have ability to fit many job opportunities with the unique set of skills I will have developed as a business professional.

 

Personal mission statement:

 

To develop and accomplish meaningful work in the business landscape.

 

 

Three S.M.A.R.T. personal goals:

 

Short term:

Specific: Complete this school term with a 3.5 GPA.

Measurable: Achieving specific goals on assignments to maintain a higher GPA

Achievable: It is not out of reach based on past performance

Realistic: I feel as if it’s possible given my work load and dedication

Time Bound: April (End of term)

 

Medium term:

Specific: Graduate the Business Administration program

Measurable: Mapping out when that can happen, how it can happen

Achievable: Finishing degree requirements, ensuring you’re on track

Realistic: I’m not far from finishing

Time Bound: Likely Fall 2024

 

 

Long term:

Specific: Become a successful business professional in Accounting

Measurable: Mapping out the steps, achieving those steps. (Entry-level, promotion, etc.)

Achievable: With hard work, I believe this to be attainable.

Realistic: I have trained and worked really hard to make this a realistic goal

Time bound: Within 3 years I want to be working through an Entry level position with my eyes set on a position looking for someone with further experience.
